Opus 5.5 Is INSANE: Day Trader Tycoon (with real money)

¶1So if we click on stock exchange bitcoin let's say we put 50 here right. So when we actually do open live now you can see confirm down here on hyperlquid you can see actually we are entering this trade. Yeah, in real [music] time as the same time we are entering this in our game, right? So you can see go down, open your first position. But what's pretty cool about this is that at the same time, like I said, we do real time, real live trading.

¶2So we got a bunch of stuff to choose from here. I'm going to show you all about this today. We also have the binary boot. So we can do on Poly Market. We can do live trading inside the game.

¶3So yeah, let me just show you a bit about Day Trader Tycoon today and yeah, how I built this. So the game has kind of two modes. We have the live trading mode here. We can connect our Hyperlid and our Poly Market um API and websocket. So we basically just put the websocket straight into the game.

¶4And this means that we can kind of connect to our accounts and we can somehow uh Opus 4.5 turn that into live trading. So yeah, I had so much fun with this, right? And it's written in C++ with the STL3 metal framework because we are running this on Mac. And here's the story mode. I'm going to show you a bit more about the story mode.

¶5But let's just go back to the promptish [music] I used for this. So basically this is kind of like a variant of what I came up with to do this. So build a day trader tycoon game in the style of open RCT or like roller coaster tycoon. So if you don't know what that is, this is like a game I used to play when I was um yeah a kid I guess in the '9s. This was like super fun the roller t roller coaster tycoon games.

¶6And this is like a open-source version. So, we just kind of tried to emulate that. It's not perfect, right? But it kind of has the same styleish. [music] And this is what I wanted Opus 5.5 to try to have this style and the same economics and stuff like that into the game.

¶7And you can see I also added some Yeah, we have the speed controls. I'm going to show you all about that later. So basically the idea is I I thought let's like we have the websocket we have the API we have the websocket on polyarket we can do cal street too and it shouldn't be if we just run like a local server it should be easy to build like a game around it actually the first thing I did was do like a a horse racing game but that wasn't as fun so you can see here I added the live mode this is the real money uh on Hyperlid and Polyarket uh with confirmations and save limits and stuff like that, right? But the simulation is more of like a game. So, we can play offline, but we also have some online features.

¶8I'm going to show you. So, the the Opus is just so strong now. You don't really have to you don't really have to give those crazy instructions. [music] So, I'm going to show you how we add new features now to the game uh after I show you a bit how the game play works. So, let's say you wanted to start it now.

¶9So we can just click on like start game and let's do a new game. So here we have kind of three options. We can do real markets. This is live prices but it's kind of offline. So this is like real simulated environment.

¶10We have the simulated markets. This is also more live, right? And then we have the offline snapshots. This is like you can play without [music] internet basically. So let's just do a simulated market.

¶11We don't have to do real market and let's do a new save here on simulated market. So now it's kind of loading in I have a few APIs. So it takes all the prices from like Yahoo Finance, Hyperlquid, Cali, Poly Market and kind of bring everything [music] into let's just delete this and start a new save. Here's kind of my main save, right? So this has been doing really well.

¶12So if we start a new save now, you can see we have create your trader. So, I'm just going to say Chris. Do a randomized look. Yeah, that's fine. Okay.

¶13And we choose our trading style. So, I'm just going to go gambler or whale. Let's do whale. And then we can just start. Right.

¶14So, here is kind of our starting point. We have like our basement here. And we have our trading laptop. This is all we have for now. We have our money down here.

¶15We have Yeah, I don't know. It's a bit strange. Let me fix that. Something like this. [music] So you can see we have the now we have the simulated markets.

¶16This means that all the prices you see here uh have the starting price. So Bitcoin for example have the starting price of Bitcoin now today right? So we are kind of simulating the real prices and we have equities but to access equities you need to build the equities desk. So we have the building feature. I can pick my equities desk.

¶17No, I can't yet because this needs an office, but I can do a multimonitor rig. Or I can skip that and have more money for trading. But let's just do a multimonitor rig. I can rotate that, right? Place it down here in my office, right?

¶18Or in my basement. And if you go into this now, you can see now we have some more options here, right? We get access to the for example we can trade micro strategy Netflix and you can see we can scale this put them wherever you want but there is also like a goal to the game right so we have something called leaderboards this is kind of our rivals the one we are playing against and yeah this is like the league table so we start here like almost at the same as our nemesis And we have the finances. We can check everything here. I'm going to show you a bit more on my big save.

¶19Uh the predictions desk. So we have prediction markets. Will CTI oil hit? What will CTI crude oil hit in October? So we can put money on that.

¶20But you see first we need a prediction desk to get access to this, right? Uh clients. This is when you get bigger. You can start getting clients. And I will show you that too.

¶21So people invest in your big fund or something like that. So let's say we wanted to invest like let's say just do Bitcoin now, right? So we have a few options. So let's say we have 5,000. So we can do margins.

¶22Let's just do 5x and let's [music] do 2,000. That's like 10,000 size. We can put on some stop loss. So, we can do 5% and 20% target. Okay.

¶23So, let's add that and open this. And that means that we leveled up. And then we can choose some stats here. You can see we can do more charisma. I like charisma for later.

¶24So, we leveled up and charisma. We are still level two here. Now, we are intern level, right? So, you can see our position now. Yeah.

¶25Didn't open so well. So we can go to our finances. Uh no I meant portfolio right and we can check our performance here. So you can see yeah this started quite bad. So now we have the max draw down funding return and this is like a real economics trading game.

¶26So, I had so much fun with this and it's pretty accurate because I had Opus 5.5 do all the simulations to fit it through like a real market. And we have something that is really important is kind of the news terminal, right? So, here there are rumors always streaming out new rumors. So, crude falls to 89 a barrel. We have some stocks going up.

¶27So, you can see this peaked today, right? You can see this had like a 47 uh peak. So we can also look at the news. This come in yeah treasury yield east. So the US $10 is on its way down.

¶28Uh we also have a gold classic game speed. So we can do three or five for game speed. This is quite important just to get going. So now you can see how trades are going faster, right? And also here on I am moving faster too.

¶29So this doesn't do much now. This is just my character. I am thinking getting it to sit down. Maybe we can do something like that. We [music] have my pizza box here.

¶30My bean bag. We can sell it. And you can also see Yeah, I don't have any staff yet. I'm going to show you that later. Upgrades.

¶31So you can buy things to spend money. This is like prestige. You can get like a private island and stuff like that. So all of this was made in like C++ by Opus um 5.5. It's just insane.

¶32I basically built a game I have been just having so much fun with just for me. So let me just show you a bit more on the on the big save there. We can do a bit [music] more stuff. So if you load this save you can see now we have a bigger office right we have a lot of people we have place down or we have the crypto desk predictions desk the macro desk equities desk we have the per pit the risk deck desk sorry and we can upgrade it to increase more appeal if you want that. So if we go to higher, you can see here is kind of my staff.

¶33Now [music] I have maxed out all my synergies. I might add more synergies. So you can see quants plus three bps edge and rebalance 2x as often. So we get these small bonuses when we have synergies. We have our house style.

¶34So we can be like a quant shop, prop desk, research house if you want to switch that. Then we get different bonuses. I haven't done that yet. And here's kind of my team. So I have my my risk manager, Ivonne, right?

¶35And I have my traders. So let's say in she's the quant trader. She has made our company how much? She has plus $2,000 right so far. So you kind of have your team and you can build up a big team.

¶36We have a research analysis and stuff like that. I haven't really fully nailed down everything here. It's a bit complicated this, but uh I have some ideas around this. And you can see now that we have more stuff here. There's more things going on, right?

¶37And you can see now we have like a bigger office with a lot of people. And you can see that I'm walking around here. So if we go to the leaderboard now, you can see how here here stuff has happened. Now we are up to fifth fourth place right but we are behind uh you can see the sizes here so they took uh a loss here I think or something like that crypto gen style so they must have gambled or something so granite street is on top 17 16 million and they have this really good we have 12% return this month that's really good so these are kind of your competition And if you now look at our portfolio, you can see the performance. So if you see over time, you can kind of see how we've been doing.

¶38We've been doing really well last month or B maybe just basically last week. It's just so much fun to add all these features to this game and Claude is so good at it. So now we can place bigger trades, right? Before we have now if we wanted to do Bitcoin, right, you can see the price is now 81. So now we have unlocked 40 leverage.

¶39We could in theory do like a Okay, I guess we can close those. We could do like a $2 million position now. 40 uh 40x equity. So yeah. Okay, we made 700.

¶40I'm just going to,000. I'm just going to close that. So yeah, this is basically the game. Uh you can see I'm level 10 here. I am like senior trader.

¶41And this is basically all you can do. There's bunch of other stuff I plan to add. Right here is the kind of the hire screen where we can hire more people and of course we can yeah buy all these upgrades. But I have been doing really good here. Here is our kind of our challenges.

¶42So we get money if we complete this goal. Become a payer millionaire, right? 50 grand if we get that. [music] Win a poly market bet. So yeah, I think I can show you that now.

¶43So, let's switch back to the live version, right? And I'm going to show you that we can actually do binary trading, too. So, if we want to do the binary, just go to the binary boot here. And you see, we need to build this. So, I need binary boot.

¶44And yeah, let's place it down here. And now we get access to the up down market. So, we can do five minutes up or down. So, let's buy in for $1 at down. Confirm.

¶45Okay. Yeah, was confirmed. So, let's open here. And let's check out here now [music] if we get our position. Okay.

¶46So, you can see here now my position we placed on down uh $1. Now, it's going down now, but that doesn't matter. So you can see we did actually go from placing on the binary booth. I'm bugged out of it. Uh in game here, right?

¶47Uh into poly market, even though I don't think that was a very good bet, but you can see we can scale this up up to 10 I have allowed now. And we have the 15minut, 1 hour, and some other windows here if we wanted to. And we could also can we exit this? I'm not quite sure. Let's go to portfolio.

¶48And yeah, we could cash this out if we wanted to. I'm just going to let it run. But basically, you can see here's the real Bitcoin up or down October, right? And here's kind of my live equity. So, we added up one of my hyperl accounts with one of my um my uh Poly Market accounts.

¶49So, now everything is like in one place. So actually I think it's a really cool way to kind of if you have a lot of different accounts we could have connected the hyperlquid calc we could have done poly market we can have done my brokers account and stuff like that put everything into this game and you can kind of just sit from here right and do all your kind of your trading uh I just find that really interesting and we do have like equities here right because uh yeah I don't have the rep to do this now, but I can fix that in the back end if I wanted to. So, we could trade these pers here for Nvidia Live, Google, Tesla, and we can do like stuff like Brent [music] and SP500 all on the Hyperlid per. So, yeah. Uh, but I promise you I wanted to show you one more thing, and that was how we add features now using Opus 5.5.

¶50Okay. So, I think we need a feature kind of for our beginner here, right? Because you can see I am now just um in the basement. I only have like 5K and it's really hard to track all this and we have the news here, but I can try to follow this news. But I wanted to do here you can see a big rise today.

¶51But I wanted to do like an AI agent. So I I can't afford to hire anyone, but I can at to afford an AI agent that can trade for me. Uh yeah, in the beginning here, right? So we can kind of buy our AI agent setup and I can kind of afford that uh in the beginning of the game. So let's try to add that to the game.

¶52So I'm just going to go to my folder. Okay. So I have a new idea for a feature. Um in the beginning, [music] it's really hard. we we can't afford to hire anyone because we need an office and money to do that.

¶53So instead of that, I thought uh we have the option to buy, let's say, an AI agent system that can trade for us. [music] And this could cost like 3,000, but you can afford this at level, let's say level two. You need to be level two to buy the AI agent system. And it mi this means that the AI agent can read the news and [music] place trades for you autonomous. So you can allocate a budget to the agent in the game and it can trade based on news.

¶54So implement that F feature, test it and give me uh notice when it's ready. So, I'm just going to do that full prompt, right? And I'm going to close down the game because you can see now in kind of the the feature, uh, Opus 5.5 is going to launch the game. It's going to do screenshots. It's going to do all the testing.

¶55And it's really nice that it can go in and do all the screenshots and kind of test out the feature. And when it's done, let's just try to to test out the new AI agent feature and see how well it works. So, I thought just this was very cool. So, now you can see uh Opus is running like a simulation uh for 30 market days for eight agents or something uh with a 4,000 balance. So, now it's going to see how balanced the game is.

¶56So, it did this for all of the the leaderboards, all of the markets. It ran like thousands of days of simulation just to balance out the game and find bugs and stuff. So, you can see it had a 52% win rate on average probably. And now it's just going to find the correct balance for the agent. And yeah, let's try it out when it's ready.

¶57Okay, so that is done. Now you can see uh how this works. So we can buy it, right? Give it a bud chat and we it reads the news. Reads the news, right?

¶58Has some rules and what it trades only markets your desk unlocks. So we need to do that too. It learns kind of over time and it's thinking log and we can kind of read um the reasoning, right? And yeah, we have some some edge and stuff here. So it's not like the best, but uh the best typical you earn like 400, but we [music] can change that up.

¶59So, let's see how it works now. So, let's just start a new game. Okay, so let's just do a new game. And let's say this is our first character. Let's just randomize that.

¶60Yeah, that's good. Uh, I want to be a whale, right? And now we should be able to Okay, so we need to be level two, right? So, let's just open here. Close.

¶61Okay, so easy. Just do a trade, you get level two. So, now we remember we need to build that. Uh yeah, we have the AI agent trading desk. Uh I wanted to place that there.

¶62Let's do it here. Uh let's place it down here. Okay, so we got it. Okay, and let's open it. Okay, so you can see we have already started here.

¶63So let's open up the news because we need can follow the news for this. So let's allocate some money. Let's do two. Let's do all the money we have. and it's reading the news, right?

¶64Let's do aggressive risk. And probably now it's just going to look at the news and try to make some trades. So, we [music] can speed it up now. Let's do 5x. And let's just see if it's going to enter anything here now.

¶65So, you can see we have some news here. Deflation is back. It says 76% right and market price 77. No edge left. I like to see that.

¶66That's pretty good. Hopefully we find something. Okay, so you can see now uh we have a was it the news here 20,000 bitcoin withdrawn from exchanges in the last hour accumulation. So we follow this tip here 70% right market price 64 now we are going long Bitcoin at 5x and you can see we are up $10 will this show up in our portfolio yeah and you can see this is AI [music] agents book yeah I like this is exactly what I wanted to see because now I can do some automated trading when I'm not here so I can kind of have this running in the background and we probably will find other two but I guess we are kind of we have no probably no uh liquidity left so you can see it's actually reading all the news and we are like 3% up so that's pretty cool and yeah that is exactly what I wanted to do we can check out the one hour candles here yeah that's looking pretty good oops but uh you get the point now we added a feature in just like I don't know 20 minutes or something and we have a new feature the AI trading agents and I can just keep going all day adding new features to this game and just get it exactly the way I want it. And I don't know if this video gets like something crazy, let's say thousand likes or something.

¶67Uh I'm going to try to publish it maybe do it like open source if that is possible or maybe we do it on Steam. I don't know. It would have be fun to try that. But yeah, that is how I used Opus to to create like a game from basically scratch. And this is no webbased game is in C++ and it wrote all the assets itself, right?

¶68By just using C++. It's people that say that AI is not going to have any effect on game development. That's just plain straight out wrong because now I'm starting to create my own games. You can see we also have a night cycle back here. So yeah, that's just what I wanted to share today.

¶69I just had so much fun with this. I wanted to see if other people are interested. So if you are, give this video a like and I can see what I can do to [music] to try to maybe put this up if people are interested. And of course, the live trading is just a gimmick, but it's really fun. I think it's pretty cool.

¶70[music] And I'm going to try maybe to develop that a bit more, too. So yeah, thank you for tuning in. Hope you found this inspiring to go out build your own games. [music] Don't just if you have a cool idea, just do it. If you have Opus 5.5 to help you out, you should you should get pretty far by just doing that.

¶71So yeah, thank you for tuning in. Have a great weekend and hopefully I'll see you again, yeah, very soon.
